WATCH: Texarkana storm caught on video, EF-1 tornado confirmed by NWS

UPDATE: The National Weather Service in Shreveport has confirmed that an EF-1 tornado did touch down in Bowie County on Friday near Daniels Chapel Road in New Boston.

EF1 tornado displaces residents near Lake Palestine, shelters open

TEXARKANA, Texas (KETK) – Texarkana resident, Carson Holden, shared a video of Friday’s storm after a Tornado Warning was issued for Bowie County last night.

Holden’s video shows a funnel cloud near New Boston Road and Robinson Road in Texarkana

The National Weather Service in Shreveport said they’re conducting a storm damage survey in New Boston and Texarkana. They plan to release the results of the survey later this evening.
