Watch police and front-end loader chase stolen tractor
WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A police chase in Georgia turned more chaotic than usual because the pursuit involved two front-end loaders and a trash truck.
It started around 11 a.m. Saturday. Police say a former employee stole a front-end loader from a waste disposal business in Norcross, Georgia, and was driving it around the property.

A Gwinnett County Police Department officer tried to get the driver of the 75,000-pound vehicle to stop, but the man kept going, off the property and into traffic.
A slow-speed chase began and became erratic as the driver did U-turns in traffic. More officers got involved, blocking traffic to keep other drivers safe. The chase was captured on police cameras.
An officer asked the waste management business if it had any vehicles that could stop the runaway tractor. That’s when another front-end loader and a trash truck joined the chase. Officers escorted them to the chase scene, and they began chasing the fleeing vehicle, too.
“This is unbelievable,” one of the pursuing officers said as the chase continued.

The pursuit ended when the front-end loader that was helping the police flipped the fleeing tractor on its side.
Officers pulled the 38-year-old driver from the cab. He was taken to a hospital to be checked for injuries and then booked into jail.
