Watch: Moulin Rouge windmill blades lie in street after falling off overnight

Moulin Rouge's iconic red sails on its windmill lay in the street after falling off in the early hours of Thursday, 25 April, a spokesperson said.

The sails that sat on the top of Paris cabaret were wrapped in plastic on the ground in front of the building by 7:30am that morning.

A Moulin Rouge spokesperson said that they did not know what had happened but that no one was hurt.

The last show had finished at 1:15am.
