Watch: Drone footage shows extent of tornado damage in Westmoreland

WESTMORELAND (KSNT) – Video obtained by KSNT News shows the damage caused by the EF3 tornado that ripped through Westmoreland Tuesday night.

On April 30, a tornado destroyed 22 houses, five outbuildings and parts of an RV park in Westmoreland. Anne Miller, 58, of Westmoreland lost her life to the tornado. Pottawatomie County officials say three others were injured in the tornado.

The tornado’s path length was 2.5 miles long, with wind speeds reaching 130-140 miles per hour. The National Weather Service said the tornado touched down at 4:40 p.m. and was finished at 4:48 p.m.
