President Donald Trump took the stage at the first of many black-tie balls after his inauguration Friday night. And he arrived with America's new first lady, Melania Trump, for a first dance that was a family affair--and that repeated at future events that night.

The new president and first lady were joined by Vice President Mike Pence and his wife, Karen. Later, they were joined by more family members, including the adult children of both Trump and Pence. “So now it's a tremendous honor to have the first dance with Melania,” Trump said. “And we're going to be joined by our vice president. We're going to be joined by some very wonderful, wonderful children, as we go along, they happen to be my children and Mike's children.”

They danced to a version of “My Way," which was popularized by Frank Sinatra. They also danced to the song at the second ball of the night, and also brought out the Pences and their families for that event. At the third event, which was dedicated to members of the armed services and first responders, the group danced to "I Will Always Love You," and also danced with members of the military on stage.

Sinatra’s daughter, Nancy, reportedly tweeted and deleted a response to Trump’s use of "My Way," saying, “Just remember the first line of the song.” The first line of the song is, “And now, the end is near.” Nancy later cleared the air, saying it was just meant to be a “harmless joke.” “Actually I'm wishing him the best,” she wrote. “A good president helps the entire world. I don't believe anyone tries to be a bad president.”
