The marine layer explained: Why San Diego’s coastal areas are foggy

Temperatures aside, the marine layer may still be a factor, especially for those honoring Memorial Day along the coast. The weather service said the marine layer is expected to gradually decrease in depth as temperatures rise.

The good news is, rain is not expected.
