Walnut Creek yoga studio shutting its doors for good

(KRON) — A yoga studio in the East Bay is shutting its doors for good. Yoga Flow SF in Walnut Creek’s last day of classes will be held on March 30, the studio’s founders and owners wrote in a statement online.

Yoga Flow SF cites the “financial challenges of operating in such a large space” as one of the reasons for its decision to close its studio at 1330 S California Blvd., calling it an “incredibly challenging” decision.

Yoga Flow SF has been open in Walnut Creek for about two and half years, the studio manager told KRON4. The final class on Saturday, March 30 will be held at 10:30 a.m. There will be $20 class drop-ins until then.

Dear Beloved Walnut Creek Yoga Community,

It is with a heart full of gratitude and mixed emotions that we share the news of the closure of our beloved Walnut Creek studio, effective March 30, 2024. Making this decision was incredibly challenging, as we deeply cherish the dedication and vibrant spirit of our community. However, various factors, primarily the financial challenges of operating in such a large space, have led us to this conclusion.

We want to assure you that all existing class packages will remain valid and can be utilized until March 30, 2024. For those with unused class credits, please don’t hesitate to contact us at walnutcreek@yogaflowsf.com, and we will do our utmost to assist you.

While this closure marks the end of our physical presence in Walnut Creek, the energy and spirit we’ve cultivated together in this space will forever resonate within us. Your unwavering support and trust have meant the world to us, and we are truly honored that you chose to share your practice with us.

Should you have any questions or need further assistance during this transition, please reach out to us. We are here to support you in any way we can.

With boundless love and gratitude,

Kathleen & Steven Holm, Yoga Flow SF Founders & Owners
