Walmart shooting victim was also robbed: Mobile Police

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Officials with the Mobile Police Department have released more information about a Saturday night shooting at a West Mobile Walmart.

Officers were called to the Walmart on Schillinger Road around 8:20 p.m. Saturday for a report of a shooting, according to an MPD news release.

Man arrested after killing uncle, barricading himself in home for 4 hours: Prichard Police

When officers arrived, they found that a man had been shot and robbed by someone he knew, according to the release.

The victim was taken to a hospital for his injuries.

Police said this is an ongoing investigation.
