Walking for Multiple Sclerosis at Harkness

Apr. 21—WATERFORD — More than 500 participants joined in the annual Walk MS: Waterford, hosted by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at Camp Harkness on Sunday.

There were both one-mile and three-mile routes available for walkers that wound through Camp Harkness, Harkness Memorial State Park and the coastline. The event also featured resources including a Center for People Living with MS and a interactive display to demonstrate support, love and remembrance for individuals diagnosed with MS.

Funds raised at Walk MS help provide programs and services for people affected by multiple sclerosis and supports MS research.
