Walk-Ons along Highway 501 in Horry County closes
HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Walk-Ons Sports Bistreaux along Highway 501 has closed, according to a letter posted on the restaurant’s door.
“We are writing to you with a heavy heart to announce that Walk-Ons Sports Bistreaux at 61 Rodeo Drive has closed its doors for the last time,” the letter reads. “This decision was not made lightly, and we want to express our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support over the years.”

“Thank you for being part of our journey. We are forever grateful for the friendships and memories we have made together,” the letter continued. “We look forward to your continued support at our other location.”
No reason for the restaurant’s closure was immediately available. It briefly closed last May after an apparent payroll issue.
Walk-Ons has another Horry County location at 101 N. Strand Parkway along Highway 544.
