Wake-Up Weather: dry-line and cold front align to bring severe storms to the big country

Summary: Yesterday‘s storm were able to break a cap in the atmosphere prompting strong to severe storms for portions of Coleman and brown county bringing with them large hail and even a brief funnel cloud that was reported in Coleman county. today we continue the threat for severe storms by early this afternoon afternoon into the overnight hours, thanks to a cold front and dry line. The main concern with the storms will be very large hail, gusty winds flooding, and even a chance to see a few isolated tornadoes along the dry line. These storms will develop only if manages to break and allow storms to bubble up and take off. The timeline for the storms is between 10 AM until 10 PM with a brief lull in activity before bubbling up early Thursday morning. Then we see a warm front Thursday allowing temperatures to rise back into the 90s as a dry line approaches Friday will start to see wins increase and shift out of the west northwest temperatures remain into the 90s through the weekend the front by memorial day and a high-pressure system to follow keeping temperature temperatures warmer than average.

Today: Mostly sunny through early morning before the cold front arrives bringing in cloud cover and thunderstorms keeping temperatures for a high in the 70’s-80’s with a light breeze. High Temperature: 83° Winds: S>N 5-15 G 25 MPH
