Nominations are submitted by area coaches or taken from stats reported to the Idaho Statesman.

GIRLS TRACK

Sayda O’Conner, Vallivue: Set personal bests in three events at the Vallivue Classic, taking fourth in the 200 (29.19), third in the 400 (1:05.07) and second in the 4x400 relay (4:42.59).

Quincy Keller, Mountain View: Established the No. 1 time in the state this season in the 200, winning the event in a personal-best 25.25 at a tri-meet with Capital and Eagle. She also placed second in the 100 (12.35) and ran a leg on the Mavericks’ winning 4x100 relay (49.11).

Sophia Clark, Boise: Ran a state-leading 2:17.01 in the 800 at the North Boise Classic, while also winning the 100 (12.22, No. 3 in state) and 200 (25.44, No. 3 in state) and running a leg on the Brave’s second-place 4x200 relay (1:46.15).

Makenzie Baisch, Eagle: Swept the 100 hurdles (15.40, No. 3 in state) and 300 hurdles (48.39, No. 8 in state) at a tri-meet with Capital and Mountain View. She also ran a leg on the Mustangs’ runner-up 4x100 relay (52.55).

Josie Davis, Owyhee: Won four golds at a tri-meet with Borah and Middleton, placing first in the high jump (5-0), long jump (17-3.5, No. 4 in the state), triple jump (36-3.5) and 4x100 relay (51.17).

Addi Richards, Emmett: Placed first in the 100 (13.73), 300 hurdles (50.69) and pole vault (9-0) and took fourth in the long jump (14-8) at the Vallivue Classic.

Taliah Rogers, Victory Charter: Ran to victory in the 400 (1:00.58), 3,200 (12:28.86) and medley relay (2:01.29) at the Vallivue Classic.

Cadence Fehrs, Ridgevue: Won the 100 (13.54), 100 hurdles (17.82) and long jump (14-7) at a dual meet with Bishop Kelly while also placing second in the 4x400 relay (4:28.33).

Avery Navest, Timberline: Swept the 100 (12.65) and 200 (25.76) at a dual meet with Meridian while also running legs on the Wolves’ winning 4x100 (51.03) and 4x200 (1:46.51) relay teams.

Paisley Taylor, Meridian: Won the 1,600 (5:05.99, No. 5 in state) at the North Boise Classic and then the 3,200 (11:26.40, No. 10 in state) at a dual meet with Timberline.

BOYS TRACK

Paxti Franks, Middleton: Swept the shot put and discus at a tri-meet with Borah and Owyhee, setting personal bests in both events. He won the shot put with a throw of 56-4.5 (No. 2 in state) and the discus with a toss of 160-7 (No. 3 in state).

Noe Kemper, Boise: Ran the top times in the state this season in the 400 (50.13) and 1,600 (4:10.77) at the North Boise Classic while also running a leg on the Brave’s winning 4x400 relay (3:26.54, No. 1 in state).

Landon Heemeyer, Rocky Mountain: Recorded the No. 2 time in the state this season in the 3,200 (9:17.17) to win the event at the North Boise Classic in his season debut.

Blake Johns, Meridian: Broke a 36-year-old school record in the shot put with a throw of 58-0 in a dual meet with Timberline. The mark is No. 1 in the state this season.

David Gummersall, Vallivue: Ran a personal-best 22.17 (No. 3 in state) to win the 200 at the Vallivue Classic. He also placed first in the 4x400 (3:38.67) and second in the 4x100 (44.53).

Caden Warren, Ridgevue: Swept the 100 (11.22) and 200 (22.61) and ran a leg on the Warhawks’ winning 4x100 relay (44.17) at a dual meet with Bishop Kelly.

Rakeem Johnson, Bishop Kelly: Placed first in the shot put (53-5, No. 6 in state) and discus (170-4) at a dual meet with Ridgevue.

Matt Irwin, Owyhee: Won four golds at a tri-meet with Middleton and Borah, placing first in the 100 (11.25), long jump (20-9.5), triple jump (43-7.5) and running a leg on the Storm’s winning 4x100 relay (43.93).

Owen McBride, Mountain View: Took first in the 100 (11.29) and 200 (22.25) at a tri-meet with Capital and Eagle, while also running a leg on the Mavericks’ winning 4x100 relay (42.93).

Ethan Kirkendall, Timberline: Set personal bests in winning the 100 (11.26), 200 (22.68) and long jump (20-11.75) at a dual meet with Meridian.
