VIDEO: Porch pirate wanted for snatching iPhone just delivered to Polk County home

POLK COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A porch pirate was caught on a doorbell camera snatching an iPhone that had just been delivered by FedEx.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office said that around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, an unidentified man stole the phone off the victim’s porch on Granite Drive in Lakeland.

Deputies said he stuck it in a “Rue 21” shopping bag before taking off.

The suspect was wearing a dark blue North Carolina hoodie with grey joggers and grey shoes. He fled the home in a grey Volkswagen with a reflecting decal on the front window.
