Access to the 53 storage units within the two-story structure is prohibited, fire officials said. Damage will be further assessed by City Building Officials and Code Enforcement.
Firefighters will remain at the facility throughout the day to extinguish smoldering debris due to the “large volume of content” in the 53 units destroyed by the fire, officials said.
The fire department said there were no injuries reported as a result of the blaze.
