Video captures high-powered cars doing donuts before fleeing from Gastonia police

GASTON COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Video shared by a viewer shows high-powered cars doing donuts in a Gastonia shopping center parking lot.

Witnesses said it happened around 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 25, along Union Road.

They also said Gastonia police showed up, chasing the drivers before they sped away.

So far, there have been no arrests.

Queen City News reporter Shaquira Speaks spoke to one of the witnesses about the incident that left them frightened.
