Vehicle shot at on Interstate 83 in the York area, state police investigating

A bullet struck a vehicle on Interstate 83 South in York County over the weekend, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

It happened around 4:37 p.m. Sunday near the Market Street interchange in Springettsbury Township, according to a news release.

The bullet entered the rear window of the vehicle, state police said.

No one was seriously injured, state police said.

The victims told state police the vehicle was shot at on I-83 South around mile marker 18.8.
