4 juveniles arrested after pursuit ends in crash on Bernard Street: Kern County Sheriff’s Office

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A high-speed pursuit ended in a crash and four juveniles were arrested and hospitalized Sunday morning in east Bakersfield.

Video from the scene shows a four-door sedan that crashed through a street sign and into the Studio B Salon sign in the parking lot. The sedan also hit a telephone pole. The crash happened on Bernard and Sacramento streets.

Sheriff’s officials said four juveniles were arrested.

One of the four juveniles, who was behind the wheel, was arrested and charged with felony evading, possession of stolen property and resisting arrest. The remaining three juveniles were cited for resisting arrest, according to KCSO.

All four minors were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their injuries were not immediately known.
