Vehicle crashes into Topeka restaurant

UPDATE 3:04 p.m.: The Topeka Police Department confirmed one of the drivers involved had minor injuries that didn’t require transport. No arrests have been made in connection to the incident.

TOPEKA (KSNT) – Topeka Police and the Topeka Fire Department are at the scene of a crash on Wanamaker Road.

A KSNT News reporter Drew Gill is at the scene and said a crash involving two vehicles happened around 2 p.m. near 29th Street and Wanamaker Road. Gill said one of the vehicles had crashed into the Blue Moose building.

A police officer on scene said the driver of one of the vehicles was taken to an area hospital. KSNT News has reached out to the Topeka Police Department for more details.

Traffic has been reduced to one lane with a police officer directing north and southbound traffic.
