Vehicle collision sends woman to hospital
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — One woman is in the hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a car near Clifton on Saturday night.
Colorado State Patrol responded to Broken Spoke Road around 9:15 p.m. CSP told WesternSlopeNow a 26-year-old male was driving northbound on Broken Spoke Road in a Ford Ranger truck when he struck a 35-year-old woman with the front of his car.
CSP believes drugs or alcohol influenced the accident. Excessive speed was not a factor.
The victim was transported to a local hospital.
