Vanderbilt women's basketball SEC opponents for 2024-25 includes only one game vs Tennessee

Vanderbilt women's basketball will not be facing Tennessee twice in 2024-25, it was announced as part of the SEC's schedule release Tuesday.

With Oklahoma and Texas joining the league, the SEC will stick with a 16-game conference schedule. However, instead of playing three home-and-home series per season, teams will now play only one. The home-and-home opponent will change every year, and for 2024-25 it is Ole Miss.

Vanderbilt's other home opponents will be Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas A&M. The Commodores' road opponents will be Alabama, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas.
