UTA offers free transit with ticket for Salt Lake City, Ogden events

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — If you’re heading into Salt Lake City for a festival or going to any one of the Ogden Twilight concerts, skip the traffic with your ticket.

The Utah Transit Authority announced on Friday, May 24, that event goers to several concerts and festivals across the valley can ride any bus, TRAX, FrontRunner, S-Line or UTA on Demand for free.

To take advantage of the free fare public transit, a rider will just need to show a printed or electronic ticket to a qualified event as proof of fare. The date on the ticket must also match the date the ticket holder is riding UTA and each passenger must have their event ticket to ride for free.
