New urgent care clinic opening in Joplin
JOPLIN, Mo. — A new urgent care facility in Joplin is a day away from officially opening its doors.
We told you last week about the new American Family Care clinic in the Northpark Crossing Shopping Center. A ribbon cutting ceremony and open house took place Tuesday afternoon.
It’s more than 3,000 square feet and features things like an in-house laboratory, EKG, and x-ray unit, along with physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and radiology technologists.
“We want to be able to provide our patients with a full service. So, if they come to us, we can complete their care, uh, get them treated and get them back to their regular life — instead of having to send them to a few different places to get things done,” said Reilly Allmoslecher, American Family Care Joplin Clinic Dir.
The facility will be open seven days a week beginning Wednesday. Doors open at 8 a.m.
