On the heels of People's article, Ina Garten herself has blessed us with yet another tidbit about her new series, Cook Like A Pro. She 'grammed a photo of herself that we can only assume is a still from the first episode, based on her caption: "I'm so excited to announce that my new Barefoot Contessa series 'Cook Like A Pro' starts this Sunday, May 28, at 11am ET on Food Network. I'm sharing lots of recipes and tips that I've learned professionally so you can cook at home with confidence. The first of 8 episodes is - of course! - all about chicken! I'll be making Roast Chicken With Radishes, Chicken & Spinach Waldorf Salad, and Truffled Chicken Liver Mousse. Hope you can join me; it's going to be so much fun! xxx Ina."

Duh, Ina - we will be joining you.

The Queen of the Hamptons made us wait two months for new information about her upcoming show - which premieres this Sunday, May 28, at 11 a.m. EST - but we've finally got some more hints as to what it'll be like. Garten says while it's still recipe-based, she'll be very focused on cooking tips. "People email me the craziest questions all the time," she told People. "So I thought, 'Why don't I answer these on the show?'"

It hasn't even aired yet, and Garten's already revealing kitchen hacks. Here's her so-simple-it-hurts advice for not showering your counters with cauliflower crumbs every time you cook with the veggie: "I turn it over, cut out the core and pull the florets apart."

If you're expecting to see a dinner party at the end of every episode, consider yourself warned. Garten told People, "My shows have always been about entertaining and friends coming over and toodling around East Hampton, and I really wanted to shake it up a little bit."

New details have emerged about Ina Garten's new show, Cook Like A Pro. The eight-episode series will be a variation of Barefoot Contessa, with a focus on teaching you the skills you need to make dishes exactly like the Food Network star. For the most part, it'll be just her on camera, sharing the tips, tricks, and techniques that have made her a household name (the first episode, for example, will be all about chicken, walking you through trussing, roasting and carving one of her most famous dishes).

She will have a special guest, which she already teased on Instagram: Her assistant, and former Delish columnist, Lidey Heuck. Judging by the post below, the two will likely tackle Garten's chocolate ganache cake, tricking it out with a white icing chevron pattern on top.

"[The show] is a little more fine-grained than my other show, which is more like my friends are coming for dinner," Garten told TODAY Food. "I want to teach people techniques instead of recipes. I just want to answer all of people's questions on how to cook."

You can get schooled by the Queen of the Hamptons herself in two months, when the show premieres on Sunday, May 28, at 11 a.m. EST.

The Barefoot Contessa's back in the kitchen, and this time, she's on a mission to help you level up your culinary skills. On Thursday afternoon, Ina Garten teased fans with Instagram and Twitter posts officially announcing she was working on an all-new series for Food Network called Cook Like A Pro.

In the photo, she posed with Lidey Heuck, who's been her assistant for nearly four years now - but hasn't just been fetching coffee and making appointments. Throughout this time, Heuck's been picking up cooking and baking techniques from her boss, even sharing them in a Delish column called "Lidey's Table," where she's made everything from party apps like chipotle hummus and veggie tartines to decadent sweets, like a salted malt caramel sauce and holiday popcorn bark.

It's unclear whether Heuck will co-star in the show - this news is so fresh that Food Network hasn't commented on it yet, IMDB has yet to create a page for it, and Garten's team hasn't returned press requests (probably given the media frenzy that erupted just after her post went live). From the sounds of the post, she'll probably appear in at least one episode, which would make sense: How better to prove that you can teach someone to cook like a pro than to instruct and watch someone learn from the master herself?

After all, the post shows two chocolate ganache-coated cakes with white chevron patterns on them, suggesting a side-by-side cooking demo. "Had a blast filming with Ina today and got to work on my chevron skills!" Heuck captioned her identical photo, which dropped on Instagram two hours after Garten's.

The choreographed timing reminds us of a certain high-profile friend of Garten's: Taylor Swift, who's been known to carefully orchestrate the release of news across social media - even hosting listening sessions with fans and arranging secret gift drop-offs, which builds buzz. The two have cooked together before, and while we have no reason to believe they'll reunite for an episode, we can only cross our fingers and hope. Because that collaboration might just cause smoke to plume from your TV and effectively shut down the internet - at least the food- and pop music-loving corners of it - for a good day or two.

Garten teased us with this ganache cake before, as People noted. She shared the technique on Instagram a month ago, explaining that all you have to do is pipe a few lines of white icing, then drag a toothpick through them, creating a chevron pattern:

The concept seems to follow a trend of chefs differentiating themselves from the wave of recipe videos out there, pivoting to focus on mastering professional techniques, rather than highlight a certain style of cooking (see: Gordon Ramsay's Masterclass, Jamie Oliver's FoodTube). If the name sounds familiar, it's probably because a 2011 episode of Barefoot Contessa had the same title, according to IMDB.

Cook Like A Pro is slated to premiere mid-May, though the exact date and time hasn't been revealed yet. We'll update this post as we learn more.
