Union County arrests - May 15, 2024
May 15—Hidie Lemon, 46, of Macksburg, was taken into custody May 14, at the Union County Law Enforcement Center on a Union County warrant charging her with ongoing criminal conduct — unlawful activity and 12 counts of theft, third degree.
According to Creston Police reports, between Jan. 25 and March 10, while working as a store clerk at Casey's General Store, Lemon loaded at least $645 to a Green Dot card in 12 transactions and $49.40 in transaction fees, without paying for the cash load or fees. These transactions were verified with security footage provided by the store.
Lemon was transported to the Adams County Jail and held on $27,000 cash or surety bond.
