Ukrainian forces kill 1,140 more Russian soldiers and destroy 15 tanks over past 24 hours

Russia has persisted in suffering losses in its war of aggression against Ukraine as the Ukrainian Defence Forces killed 1,140 Russian soldiers and destroyed 15 artillery systems and 15 tanks over the past 24 hours alone.

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 19 December 2023 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

  • approximately 348,300 (+1,140) military personnel

  • 10,771 (+19) armoured combat vehicles

  • 8,190 (+15) artillery systems

  • 926 (+0) multiple-launch rocket systems

  • 611 (+1) air defence systems

  • 324 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft

  • 324 (+0) helicopters

  • 6,299 (+9) tactical UAVs

  • 1,611 (+1) cruise missiles

  • 22 (+0) ships and boats

  • 1 (+0) submarines

  • 10,842 (+20) vehicles and tankers

  • 1,200 (+2) special vehicles and other equipment.
