May 7—ASHLAND — The American Heart Association has awarded UK King's Daughters a national Gold level recognition for its commitments to team member health and well-being as measured in the AHA's 2024 Workforce Well-being Scorecard, according to a press release.

King's Daughters is one of more than 500 organizations nationwide that completed the scorecard, which evaluates factors such as mental health policies and organizational well-being strategies to address burnout, health equity measures and employee financial resources to provide a comprehensive assessment of an organization's culture of health, according to the release.

"Improving the overall health and well-being of our team members is one of our top priorities," Jamie Parsons, UK King's Daughters Vice President of Human Resources and Chief Human Resources Officer, said. "The Gold recognition demonstrates our dedication to building a culture that helps everyone thrive, both in and out of the workplace."
