UEFA Euro 2024: StarHub, Singtel to televise matches on SPOTV channels, subscription starts from early-bird price of S$88
Month-long tournament to be shown on Ch251 and Ch252, StarHub TV+ users can enjoy on-demand highlights and rewatch key moments
SINGAPORE — The quadrennial UEFA Euro 2024 tournament, to be played in Germany from 15 June to 15 July, will be televised live on SPOTV channels on both StarHub TV and Singtel TV, as well as on Mediacorp's meWatch.
The tournament will feature 24 teams across Europe, as reigning champions Italy will defend their crown against favourites such as 2022 FIFA World Cup finalists France, hosts Germany and Euro 2020 runners-up England.
StarHub subscription prices, new sports bundles
StarHub announced in a media release on Thursday (11 April) that all 51 Euro 2024 matches will be available on SPOTV Stadia (Ch251) and SPOTV2 Stadia (Ch252), with the pre-event programme kicking off from 12 June.
Beyond the live matches, fans can enjoy goal compilations, official films and magazine programmes integrated into the channels' line-ups. Fans with StarHub TV+ can also catch the late-night matches on multiple devices, access on-demand highlights, and rewind to rewatch key moments of the matches.
From now until 26 May, football fans can can subscribe to UEFA Euro 2024 Season Pass on the StarHub website for an early-bird offer price of S$88. They can also subscribe via the StarHub app, on Starhub TV+ and in-store from 1 May onwards. After the early-bird offer period, the subscription price will be S$108.
Two new sports bundles will be available for customers to enjoy all the top sporting action and complete their sports experience on StarHub TV+, starting from just S$45/month. These bundles come with a complimentary TV+ PRO box with Bang & Olufsen speakers.
Singtel to televise matches through Singtel TV and CAST
Meanwhile, Singtel also announced in a media release that it will be televising all Euro 2024 matches in full high definition on Channels SPOTV Stadia, SPOTV2 Stadia and SPOTV Stadia On Demand through Singtel TV and streaming app Singtel CAST.
Likewise, football fans can sign up from this month for the early-bird promotion of S$88, before the usual price of S$108.
Euro 2024 is the 17th edition of the European Championship, and Germany will be the host nation for the third time. It will be the first time the competition is held in what was formerly East Germany with Leipzig as a host city, as well as the first time that a reunified Germany serves as a solo host nation.
The previous edition was postponed for a year and played in 2021 instead of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Italy won the title in London's Wembley Stadium, beating England on penalties in the final.
