Tyler Sister Cities to host membership meeting

TYLER, Texas (KETK) — The Tyler Sister Cities is looking for new members as their annual membership meeting approaches on Thursday at 6 p.m.

Memorial City Hall announces star-studded 2024-2025 season

The meeting will be held in the Ornelas Center for Band, Apache Belles and Dance at Tyler Junior College.

The Tyler Sister Cities began in 1982 to offer a global vision of the East Texas and Tyler community. Attendees will learn about humanitarian opportunities, support local efforts to house sister delegates in Tyler and those who become members will be eligible to travel to Tyler’s sister cities.

Tyler Sister Cities include:

  • Yachiyo, Japan

  • Jelania, Poland

  • Lo Barnechea, Chile

  • San Miguel de Allende, Mexico

  • Liberia, Costa Rica

Sister Cities International represents about 2,400 communities in 130 countries around the world.

That Mexican OT to perform in Tyler this summer
