Runaway teenage girls located after going missing in Fayette County

UPDATE: Wednesday, May 15, 2024 9:17 P.M. | FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (WVNS) — Both runaway teenagers have been located and returned to New River Ranch Facility according to updates by Fayette County law enforcement.


FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (WVNS) — The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two runaway teenage girls.

According to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were told about two runaway girls from the New River Ranch Facility in Beckwith at around 9:00 p.m. on May 14, 2024.

The two runaway teens are 13-year old Nevaeh Manor and 16-year-old Juanita Carpenter.

Manor (left) is 5 feet tall, weighs 130 pounds, and has brown eyes and brown hair. Carpenter (right) is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 277 pounds, and has curly blonde hair.

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office stated that the girls’ last known location was on Route 16/Beckwith Road.

According to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, no pictures of the two girls are available due to the New River Ranch Facility refusing to release photos.
