Two men arrested, face drug charges after Livingston Parish deputies seize meth, heroin

LIVINGSTON PARISH, La. (BRPROUD) — Two men were arrested after an investigation by the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Narcotics agents responded to a call at Leach Lane in Denham Springs in April, according to LPSO.

“Agents were called to assist LPSO Detectives and LPSO Uniform Patrol with an ongoing investigation,” said Sheriff Jason Ard.

Upon arrival, authorities spotted two male suspects. Nicholas Blankenship and Jude St. Clair, were attempting to flee, the sheriff’s office said.

During the investigation, a drug-related search warrant was conducted at a home located on Leach Lane in Denham Springs, according to LPSO.

The sheriff’s office said the following items were seized:

  • 6.5 oz. of methamphetamine.

  • 0.5 grams of suspected heroin.

Two accused drug dealers charged in Livingston Parish

Blankenship and St. Clair were arrested and booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center.

Blankenship faces charges of possession with the intent to distribute a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance, possession of a Schedule I drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting an officer.

St. Clair faces charges of possession of a Schedule II drug, improper telephone communication, simple criminal damage to property, criminal trespassing, two bench warrants, possession with the intent to distribute a Schedule II CDS, possession of a Schedule I drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting an officer.
