VSP identifies teen as one of two killed in Henry County vehicle fire

UPDATE 5/26 9:37 A.M. (WFXR)– Virginia State Police have released further details regarding their investigation of a vehicle fire that killed two people on Figsboro Road in Henry County.

According to VSP, a 2014 Chevrolet Impala was traveling north on Figsboro Road when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway and struck several trees, which caused the Chevrolet to spark and become fully engulfed by flames.

Man killed in multi-vehicle crash on US-220 in Franklin County

State police identified the two victims as 17-year-old Azetta Sone Hairston and 19-year-old Jahnavia Sadee Rose Hairston of Martinsville. They were both reportedly wearing their seat belts.
