Two injured in shooting on Stratford Park Drive SW in Roanoke

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Roanoke Police say two people are injured after a shooting on Stratford Park Drive SW in Roanoke on Wednesday, April 24.

Roanoke Police said officers were dispatched to the 3800 block of Stratford Park Dr. on a report of shots fired. Officers found two male victims with gunshot wounds who were then taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital by Roanoke Fire-EMS for treatment.

Police said one man appeared to have sustained a critical gunshot wound and the other appeared to have non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Police say the investigation is still ongoing. Details about what led up to the shooting remain limited and no suspects have been located or arrested at this time.
