One dead, one hospitalized after Hoover Reservoir water rescue
BLENDON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WCMH) — One person is dead and another hospitalized after a boating accident near Westerville Sunday night.
The accident happened at the Hoover Reservoir at approximately 8 p.m. Two people were taken to St. Ann’s Hospital, one in critical condition and the second in fair condition with hypothermic symptoms, Genoa Township Fire Department Chief Joe Ponzi said.
The victim in critical condition did not survive and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources is investigating the cause of the accident.
