MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Co-defendants charged in a 2020 murder are found guilty. Antonio Rowe Jr. was shot and killed on Phillips Street in December of 2020.

Juries in Mobile County found Nathaniel Henderson and George Green guilty. Green’s trial ended late Friday night and Henderson was found guilty in a different trial Wednesday.

Prosecutors say Green fired several shots into the victims car, killing Rowe and that Henderson was the getaway driver. Sentencing hearings are scheduled for later this summer.

“This week was long overdue for the family of Antonio Rowe Jr. who finally received justice for
their son,” said Mobile County District Attorney Keith Blackwood in a news release. “We are extremely grateful for the jurors in these cases – their time, patience and service, especially staying at the courthouse until well after 9pm – is commendable.”
