PITTSBURG, Kan. — Two people are in custody on stolen property and firearm charges after Pittsburg Police allegedly found them in a reported stolen vehicle
Officers with PPD located a stolen vehicle Friday morning around 6:30 after an alert from a city license plate reader.

Officers found the car at the McDonald’s near 1125 S. Broadway St. with subjects Eric Taylor, 19, of Kansas City, and Makiya Reeves, 19 of Ft. Scott inside. Investigators also learned that a firearm within and the car itself were stolen out of Kansas City as well.
Taylor and Reeves were both arrested on multiple charges.
