A cold and chilly start will lead to a warm finish as highs make a run for the low 70s throughout the day. Skies will be mostly sunny as winds flow out of the southwest between 5 and 10 miles per hour. Tuesday will be mostly quiet ahead of a weak cold front that will approach the Carolinas heading into Wednesday.

Clouds increase overnight as lows dip into the low 50s and mid to upper 40s overnight. Look for spotty showers to start early in the day Wednesday before tracking towards the Queen City. Rain will be relatively short-lived and quick, only impacting the first half of the day. Look for Wednesday to still hit the mid-70s with a mix of sun & clouds.

We’ll finish off the work week with afternoon highs in the 70s and overnight lows in the 50s. Showers and rain chances will return heading into the weekend as an unsettled pattern tries to move in.

We’ll stay more dry than wet through the weekend with a few spotty showers possible. A warming trend will get us back into the 80s heading into early next week.

Today: Mostly Sunny & Warm. High: 73.

Tonight: Increasing Clouds & Chilly. Low: 51.
