Temperatures are mild and warm this morning, sitting in the low 60s and upper 50s. We’ll quickly blow past the normal high of 74 degrees this morning as afternoon highs aim for the upper 80s. We’ll yet again flirt with a record high of 89 degrees this time set back in 1896 and tied in 2006.

Winds will be light out of the west-southwest as clouds begin to overshadow the sunshine throughout the day. Look for our mountains to hold on to low rain and storm chances as temperatures only peak in the low to mid-70s.

Tonight will be pleasant yet again as lows dip into the low 60s. Clouds will become abundant on Wednesday as low rain chances take hold through mid-week. Highs will be in the low 80s briefly before returning to the upper 80s under mostly sunny skies on Thursday.

An approaching cold front will bring much cooler temperatures as well as rain and storm chances starting Friday and heading into the weekend.

We can expect wet weather & storm chances to diminish early next week as Monday kicks things off in the mid-60s.

Today: Partly Cloudy & Hot. High: 87.

Tonight: Mostly Cloudy & Mild. Low: 63.
