THP: No injuries reported after truck hauling logs overturns on I-81 at interchange

SULLIVAN COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL) – An overturned truck on Interstate 81 South in Sullivan County caused delays earlier on Monday.
The truck overturned near the underpass below Interstate 26 in Sullivan County just after 9:30 a.m., according to a report from Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP).

THP reports the tractor-trailer was negotiating a right turn at exit 8A onto the I-81 south interchange when its load shifted. The truck then overturned on its left side across I-81 south, into the median and partially blocking a lane.

The truck came to an uncontrolled stop on the top of the guardrail on the left side of the median, the report stated.
No injuries were reported.
