Trinity High School president Rob Mullen announces plans to step down next year
Trinity High School President Rob Mullen is stepping down from his leadership position after 25 years.
Mullen will continue as president for the 2024-2025 school year before assuming a new role as vice president for mission, with a focus on school fundraising, according to the Trinity High School website. A search for the next president has begun with hopes of securing one early in 2025.
“Trinity is in a very strong position and effectuating a smooth transition to my successor will sustain the momentum we are enjoying,” Mullen said. “We have some significant initiatives underway and I look forward to helping see those to completion.”
Mullen's resignation as president goes into effect next June. The 1977 Trinity graduate has held a multiple of positions at the school during the past 40-plus years, and wanted to step down at a time that was most appropriate for the school, said Mike Paradis, chair of the Trinity High School Board.
“Rob has played a role in our preparation,” Paradis said. “He wanted to ensure that upon his decision to step down the school was on the strongest footing possible academically, financially and operationally. Thankfully, that is where we are today.”
The search committee for the 2025-2026 school year is comprised of members of the Trinity High School Board and Trinity High School Foundation. They are initially seeking input from various Trinity stakeholders regarding the most important qualities for the next president.
