Tour of Kern County Sheriff’s Office HQ set for March 23

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is giving people a chance to tour their headquarters next weekend.

On March 23, the public is invited to tour KCSO headquarters, at 1350 Norris Road. Tours run from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., according to organizers. In order to tour, you must reserve a spot by calling 661-391-7559, or emailing crimeprevention@kernsheriff.org.

The following squads will on scene demonstrating for crowds: Bomb Squad, Air Support, SWAT Team, Crisis Negotiation Team, K-9 and Human Resources.
