‘The Tortured Poets Department’: Where to celebrate Taylor Swift’s album drop in the DMV

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Taylor Swift released her new album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” at 12 a.m. on Friday. She followed it up two hours later by adding 15 more songs for her fans.

Don’t be an “Anti-Hero” and miss out on the Swiftie celebrations. We put together a list of some of the places where you can mark the release of the new album in D.C., Maryland and Virginia. You’ll find them listed here.

Public Bar Live: 1214 18th St. NW, Washington, D.C. 20036

DuPont Circle’s Public Bar Live is hosting a Taylor Swift Rave, complete with Taylor Swift-themed decorations, cocktail specials and photo booths. Swift’s hits will include classics, vault songs and pieces from her latest album. You can register on Eventbrite or through Public Bar Live’s website.
