Tornado watch canceled for all Tennessee Valley counties

(WHNT) — The National Weather Service (NWS) has canceled the tornado watch for all North Alabama and Southern Middle Tennessee counties on Monday, May 27.

Severe storms moved through the area overnight Monday, causing NWS to issue a tornado watch at around 1 a.m. for all 10 North Alabama counties that would eventually be canceled.

A tornado watch was issued before that for Lincoln, Franklin, and Giles Counties, but that has also been canceled.
