Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift is that rarest of pop phenomena: a superstar who managed to cross over from country to the mainstream. Other singers performed similar moves, but Swift shed her roots like they were a second skin, revealing that she was perhaps the sharpest, savviest singer/songwriter of her generation, one who could harness the Zeitgeist and turn it personal. These skills were evident on her earliest hits, but her second album, Fearless (2008), showcased a songwriter discovering who she was. Speak Now (2010) brought Swift into the stratosphere. Her popularity only increased with Red (2012) and 1989 (2014), albums that found her moving assuredly into a pop realm where she already belonged. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine

Lord Alan Sugar has sparked hilarity on Twitter after appearing to mistake a parody article about Taylor Swift for a real article.  The baffled Apprentice star, 71, shared a link to an article from satirical site The Onion - that joked about Taylor Swift 'having a swastika tattoo on her face'.  Commenting on the post, Lord Sugar said: 'Eh I don't get this . Can someone explain is she making a statement or what ?' Other social media users were quick to react, with many explaining that The Onion is a satirical website. Some struggled to believe that he had actually mistaken it for a genuine article, including one person who questioned: 'Do you seriously think this is real, Alan?'  The parody article

Ireland Baldwin slips down to body as she mocks Taylor Swift's dancing

She is accustomed to treading runways for top fashion houses.  Yet Ireland Baldwin was performing in an entirely different fashion on Tuesday when she took to social media to share a kooky video in which she was seen larking around with a banana in hand while sporting a skimpy swimsuit.  Feeling wild, the 22-year-old was surrounded by dogs and cages - some of whom she used to dance with - as she larked around in her scanty ensemble to the tune of Taylor Swift's hit Delicate, while imitating the singer's dance moves. Showing off her model figure, Ireland sported the scanty pink body which boasted spaghetti straps and high-rise sides to best emphasise her lithe limbs. With her friends howling with

Accused Waffle House Shooter Lived, Worked In Salida, CO

SALIDA, CO -- Tennessee Waffle House shooting suspect Travis Reinking lived and worked in Salida, Colorado for about six months in 2017, where police said he contacted them with claims that pop celebrity Taylor Swift was stalking and harassing him. A former employer in Salida told Fox31 that Reinking claimed he had purchased a $14,000 ring for Swift and had gone to California to give it to her. Reinking allegedly opened fire with a rifle early Sunday at a Waffle House near Nashville, Tennessee, and killed four people. After a manhunt, he was found near his apartment and taken into custody. The Waffle House Shooting Suspect Thought Taylor Swift Was Stalking Him, Showed Other Signs Of Delusion

(CNN) — When Travis Reinking breached a White House security barrier in July, police say, he had a very specific request: He wanted to meet with President Donald Trump. Reinking, who was taken into custody Monday afternoon, told a Secret Service officer at the northeast entrance that he was a “sovereign citizen” who had a “right to inspect the grounds,” according to a Metropolitan Police Department incident report dated July 7, 2017. The report does not say if Reinking was referring to the anti-government extremist movement of the same name. But the 29-year-old's previous encounters with law enforcement are coming under fresh scrutiny after he was named a suspect in a deadly Sunday morning shooting
