Top Boy star pregnant with first child

Top Boy star Adwoa Aboah has revealed that she is expecting her first child.
Appearing at last night's (May 6) Met Gala in New York City – aka fashion's biggest event of the year – the British model and actor debuted her bump on the carpet.
Wearing a ruffled red crop top and skirt which showcased her growing stomach with a nod to this year's theme, The Garden of Time, Aboah could be seen cradling her bump while posing for photos on the Met's famous steps.

Aboah, known for her role as Becks in Netflix's hit crime drama Top Boy, was recently cast in the streamer's upcoming rom-com series Too Much alongside a star-studded ensemble.
Created by Lena Dunham and her husband Luis Felber, Too Much will follow New York workaholic Jessica (Megan Stalter), who strikes up an unexpected connection with Felix (The White Lotus' Will Sharpe) after she moves to London to escape the pain of her recent breakup.
Other cast members include Saltburn's Richard E. Grant, Barbie's Rhea Perlman, Game of Thrones star Dean-Charles Chapman, The Prom's Andrew Rannells, Emily Ratajkowski and Stephen Fry.

Aboah wasn't the only star to make a statement at the Met's Costume Institute's new exhibition, as Saltburn's Barry Keoghan and 'Espresso' singer Sabrina Carpenter officially made their red carpet debut together.
Carpenter stepped out in a strapless Oscar de la Renta gown while Keoghan opted for a velvet Burberry suit, before the couple came together for a photo at the top of the steps.
