Tomi Lahren's Show Has Been Suspended
Rising conservative star Tomi Lahren surprised her fans and adversaries alike last Friday after she voiced her support for abortion rights during an appearance on The View. In response, many of her supporters were quick to voice their outrage, with some claiming they now planned to boycott her - and as of Monday, multiple sources report that her show on The Blaze has been suspended this week, allegedly as a result of the backlash.

Confirming the news in a statement to CNNMoney, The Blaze's managing editor Leon Wolf said, "Tomi's show will not be in production this week." When the publication reached out to the show's host for further comment, she responded, "Wish I could comment but I can't."
Despite not being able to release a formal statement on the matter, however, Lahren has offered several tweets in response to the news - some more cryptic than others.

Among the slew of tweets, Lahren also retweeted an article about the hosts of The View defending her against the backlash, as well as a tweet from the show's Paula Faris, encouraging her to treat all people with respect.
During her appearance on The View, Lahren proclaimed that she is pro-choice, before delving into why she believes it's hypocritical for Republicans to want to allow the government to "decide what women do with their bodies." The Daily Caller reports that this caused tension between her and her coworkers.
“I’m pro choice, and here’s why: I am a constitutional, you know, someone that loves the Constitution," she said on the show. "I’m someone that’s for limited government. So I can’t sit here and be a hypocrite and say I’m for limited government but I think the government should decide what women do with their bodies. I can sit here and say that, as a Republican and I can say, you know what, I’m for limited government, so stay out of my guns, and you can stay out of my body as well.”
In response, founder of The Blaze Glenn Beck addressed the controversy during his radio show on Monday, saying that he disagrees with Lahren but that he wouldn't stop someone from working at his company if they were pro-choice.
“First of all, we have a whole bunch of different kinds of people that work here…If you’re pro-choice, you can have a job at The Blaze,” he said. "I would disagree that you’re a hypocrite if you want limited government and yet you want the government to protect life of the unborn. It’s very, very clear. But it takes intellectual honesty, and it takes a willingness to actually think these things through and to do more than just read Twitter or Facebook to get your news and your political opinions.”
Lahren also responded to the initial backlash in a tweet on Friday, writing, "I have moderate, conservative, and libertarian views. I'm human. I will never apologize, to anyone, for being an independent thinker."

At this time, it is unclear if Lahren's suspension will last longer than a week.
