The category consisted of cheeses aged between six months to a year. This year’s top spot was narrowly claimed by a creamery in Chateaugay, New York.

Local cheese eaters may not be surprised to learn that the Oregon Coast-based creamery is picking up some recognition at the international competition. Tillamook also submitted their cheeses to the mozzarella, Monterey jack, and pepper jack categories.
