Three people injured in Mansfield single-vehicle crash

Update: State police have provided more information into a one-vehicle crash in Mansfield that sent three people to the hospital on Saturday.

State police said in a release that a 23-year-old male, a 22-year-old male, and a 25-year-old male sustained serious injuries after crashing a Ford pickup truck along Route 6 on Saturday, March 30.

Police added that the driver of the vehicle is suspected of having been under the influence of a substance before the crash.

The investigation into the crash remains open.


MANSFIELD, Pa. (WETM) — Three people were injured when a pickup truck crashed on Route 6 in Richmond Township on Saturday afternoon.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, two people were ejected from the front windshield of a truck when it crashed along Route 6 (Roosevelt Highway) between the intersection of Route 6 and Roseville Road and the intersection of Route 6 and Westgate Road at about 4:15 p.m. on March 30. First responders had to remove a third person from the truck.

One of the individuals was taken to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre for treatment, and the other two individuals were taken to Williamsport Hospital. Their names have not been released.

Mansfield Fire and Rescue and UPMC Wellsboro Ambulance assisted the Pennsylvania State Police Department at the scene.
