This Bikini Pic Of Britney Spears Shows Just How Misleading A Photo Can Be
A photo of Britney Spears chilling by the pool in a teeny tiny triangle bikini has got everyone in a fluster.
Not because the singer may be at risk of sunburn but because her stomach looks tinier than ever.
Within seconds of uploading the snapshot on Instagram last night, the mum-of-two was inundated with comments from fans asking if she’d edited the pic to make it seem like her waist was smaller - something that a number of female celebs are guilty of.

But look a little closer and you’ll see that there’s something of an optical illusion going on.
The 34-year-old’s belly is actually partly obscured by a navy blue towel, making it seem that her ribcage is far tinier than it actually is. So, no need to panic concerned fans.
That’s not to say Britney doesn’t have an incredible toned bod: A second photo she uploaded shows her standing in a crop top and hot pants on the golf course, rocking one insanely flat tum.

The singer’s weight has been the subject of numerous articles over the years, after she battled with regaining her pre-baby figure after the birth of her two children.
The singer enlisted the help of personal trainer Tony Martinez to tone up ahead of her residency at the Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. It was no easy feat. She worked out three to four times a week for 40 minutes, focusing on core workouts.
“We use my core discs,” Tony told the Daily Mail at the time. “Core discs are little circle things that I had made up for my product and we use those for a lot of ab workouts. We use those for mountain climbers, will do a barrel role tuck in where you turn around all the way over and then you bring your knees in. So really functional exercises that she likes, and she’s like, ‘I really feel this’.”
