Things Go Hilariously Haywire When Chris Pratt and Ellen Try to Play Game

On Friday, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 star Chris Pratt stopped by Ellen and played everyone’s favorite game that makes it sound like you’re saying dirty words in front of your parents, Speak Out. Not surprisingly, about halfway through the game Pratt tried saying a phrase that ended up sounding like something dirty, and hilarity ensued.

What Pratt was supposed to say was, “I’m gonna bump you.”

The fact that it came out sounding so dirty the first time may have had something to do with his body language and the way in which he tried to say it. There was almost something sensual there, and Pratt immediately realized what it sounded like as soon as he said it. The next few attempts to say it were foiled by laughter.

Pratt tried employing the 2005 Black Eyed Peas hit, “My Humps,” but that failed, possibly because he seemed to mime rubbing a pregnant belly, and that’s not at all that Fergie sings about in the song. But Pratt’s a smart cookie and fist-bumped himself, finally leading Ellen DeGeneres to correctly guess what he was trying to say.
