Theodore man dies in motorcycle crash

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — A Theodore man is dead after a crash involving a motorcycle, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

Troopers with ALEA responded to Alabama 193 near the 10-mile marker, approximately 6 miles north of Dauphin Island city limits in Mobile County, for a two-vehicle crash that reportedly occurred around 12:35 p.m. on Sunday, April 14.

Investigations indicate that the crash happened when a 2007 Suzuki GSX motorcycle driven by 52-year-old Michael W. Collins of Theodore hit the back of a 2023 Toyota Tundra driven by a Coden man.

Mobile Catholic priest arrested, archdiocese confirms

Following the collision, Collins was thrown from the motorcycle. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to reports.
